Ancestry influence with breeding

We have a discussion lately in the group about the influence of the ancestors with the breeding of new babies.

Some people say its what you see on the breeding screen.
And i think its the whole ancestry of the parents including the great grandparents and those great grandparents are not on the breeding screen. but they count for the traits for the new baby.
Wow its hard to be clear on that.
What has changed is the matching of the mossms for breeding.
and there the great grandparents don't play any role anymore. Only what you see in the breedingscreen.

Pls does anyone have a good answer on this topic. There is a lot of different opinions on that

Aizik, that's easy to explain: solid is tecnically a blend and you have two of those. The grand parent has some white in it. Hope that helps.
