I think you are asking that threads with recent posts in them be at the top? If so, it already works that way except that "sticky threads" take up the first 2 slots. Otherwise the topic that has the most recent post is always in slot 3.

I wish there was some compromise with the inheritance where at least the colors, traits and blends of the breeding pair's parents could be passed. I've been in breedables a long time and one thing that has always been there to assist in keeping them profitable is the offspring market. With traits not able to skip even one generation there will be no offspring market at all. Since most new people are not in breedables to make a big profit they are not going to pay high amounts for the rare pure traits. This means not only will there be no offspring market, but in order to sustain the main market prices will have to go very low even for the best mossms.

i want to share this:

The last 2 days i bred 18 babies, all from moonstars and zebra's
Well most of them.
Those 18 babies are:
14 Solids
3 Gradient
1 Moonstar

The ones since the update before these last 2 days are almost all in cryo. But the result is about the same.

Why did you ever change the breeding that my long bred pure moonstars and zebra's don't pass their coats anymore.
Its ok new starters and so and new blends, but its very strange and upsetting that all the lines are gone now. As if its out of the system now.
Other breedables come with updates and new starters. But people can keep breeding their horses or meeroos or kitties, the ones they have bred. It doesn;t change that.
But with the mossms its just gone and thats upsetting me the most. Not the starters or a new color or new blends.
I think thats a huge mistake and only parents and a planet with breeding.
Another big mistake in changing the breedingsystem in only parents and planet count, is that we have no offspring market anymore. The mossms have no value anymore. I bred 18 babies the last 2 days and 17 can go in cryo or send to space.
I got 20 starters and got 1 yellow. The rest is worthless and i can cryo them or send them to space.
There is no market in those mossms. Whats the use of breeding or buying starters ??? When 99 procest or even more is worthless.
Except trading them for traits later on. But i lost all trust. Who is gonna tell me its not happening again. Oh no not needed only parents count and a planet, So we dont have to breed strong lines anymore.
I didnl;t get any more panda or cow or whatever. I got one cow thats it and one yellow from the starters. Thats all.

I am still very upsett and keep breeding everyday out of curiousity to see when and if i get something worth keeping. And all the oomf of my moonstars and zebra's are gone. Bye bye beauties. I really love those mossm i have bred. I feel so bad about it. I quit breeding mossms when its going on like this. I gave it one week.

One thing to keep in mind as we get through all of our changes and updates... Mossms were already worthless on the market before we made these changes, this change didn't cause it. It just didn't fix it. But we didn't expect this change to fix it. The upcoming features we are adding should help make them viable again but we had to make these underlying changes for upcoming features to work properly.

Hang in there Durgama, it will be fun again. We're working very very hard to make it fun again.

Ok .. I have watched and been quiet .. but just can't anymore .. I found Mossms when I said "The Magic is gone from SL" and someone kindly pointed me to these little dudes. So I have been around for probably 2 months now .. and I got none of the cool stuff you all got .. which is fair .. I came in at the end of the Oranges but managed to get a few .. that said .. "I am still having as much fun as day 1" Isn't this supposed to be fun? So stop raining on the Mossms .. Enjoy what you got and YOU find a way to keep it fresh and fun. If it's not fun anymore .. don't complain to others .. just move on to something you find as fun. <<rant over>>
