Well, i do agree that particles shouldn't be guaranted to pass from a mossm that only has it in ancestry but doesn't show the particles. Indeed, power ups in that case make it a cheap way to obtain what took a lot for those that have particles (like me, yes) That is why i dont sell my particles offspring or i dont sell cheap. Indeed i had lot of cryos to use in collections (dont forget those cryos i bred, so i fed my mossms, a lot of them, to get them also....) but i also had to buy a lot of mossms from others players to complete some collections. It is how the game works and making it easier for some do not seem a very good idea, but that is just my two cents lol.
Still though, i think breeding two mossms that have both particles should guarantee you a particle to pass. As we cannot get the particles from a planet, its not working like blends, so maybe having more reliability on particles coming from parents could be a good thing and then encourage people to either complete collections to get their own particles or to buy some, knowing they will pass for sure.

I think your proposed plan for Particles is a good one Asym .. and a fair one .. I for one have fed and kept a lot of Mossms over the last months and it has been fun to work toward getting Particles into my babies. Mossms take time to build up .. it is not an overnight activity to go from a pair to particles and should not be unless you are one that likes to purchase which is fine, BUT you still should have to work to get Splurt. to continue .. just my 2 bits ..
