Traits passing on others planets

Pls I got a baby from Black Starlight planet and got a balloon tail. If I mate this new mossm (once its adult) in Mossmopolis, Catania or Toxito, may it pass the balloon Tail to its babies, once it has the dna? Or it only may pass the trait if its on same planet or highter?
