During today's Q&A session the idea of clicking on Mossm to see more details, similar to how the other breedables work, was raised.

I have always hated the floaty text wall. To me it ruins the creatures. That said I know it is important to many of you that certain information about the Mossm be available to you from within Second Life and so I am starting this thread to get feedback on what you all think is the best way to reveal the information that you will need to manage your critters once stats become relevant.

Some like floaty text because they can see it all the time. Some like the stats in a dialogue box while others like to click the creature and have stats sent to chat.

What do you prefer?

Myself I like to be able to see what the stats are on creatures walking around and clicking them... a hud does not bother me so much but even just the stats showing in chat is great.. and if have floaty text could have option to turn it off?

I would like the option to be able to display the text, all/none/some that I want above the Mossm - perhaps a checkbox system? With maybe an overide if they display a warning text, i.e. automatically displaying a warning if they are not getting fed?

i like titian's idea, also i like getting stats on click in private im to me, basic stuff like parents and stats ^^ as for hovertext i like it just with the name, and if in non cryo sell mode, maybe more info then if someone wants to have hovertext on

I'd say we do need some options. cause at the moment its imposibble to tell if a new baby is a boy or a girl with out going to look at the info on the website. Most breedables have menus for hover text options, on or off, name or full stats. Things like number of breeds left will be important information for people buying Mossms from other breeders, rather than a starter pack, for the first time too

Your concerns about knowing what you are purchasing is totally covered in the cryo box. All of the information about a Mossm that is in cryo is available with a singe click on the box. The box also has two visual indicators of what is inside.. a texture indicator on the top of the box that shows what the coat looks like and the computer matrix dots on the front of the box are pink or blue relative to their sex.

Regarding menu options and floaty text for unfrozen/live Mossms, please keep the thoughts coming!

I think there should be a click and get privately the information you want if they are not in a cryo box. There are a few other breedable's you can click on some one elses breedable and get the stats in private chat where no one else sees it and it is not hud driven.
My argument is say I want to buy a Mossm direct sale and it has already been in a cryo box 3 times,I should still be able to buy and sell that Mossm directly with out having to figure out how to go to the site and find it if the owner is not around.
