I was curious if there are plans for any further interaction with these little friends? i love to stand here and watch them ... so active.. so ADHD like my RL kids but... i would like to be able to rename them .. perhaps pick them up or play with them in some manner.. is this a plan for future works?

You can rename them already! If you go to my mossms, and click on a mossm, you can rename it there.

But other than that, yes, we plan to do many more things with them-- we're just getting started. We really haven't even begun to scratch the surface of our capabilities yet.

aha okay sorry i missed that part of renaming, YAY!!!! and thank you, yes i heard from my bestie that it just started last wednesday and i am so excited to be a part of it... i shall blame him when my sim is over run with them :)
