As many of you know we released the Cryo Pod earlier this week and after some extended discussion with our community we went back to the drawing board for redesign.
Today we are re-releasing the redesigned Cryo Pod and these are the things you'll need to know:
The cryo pod is a single use item in which a Mossm can be "frozen in time." When put into a the cryo pod a Mossm no longer eats and no longer grows making it easier for you to package up a Mossm for trading and/or selling.
Mossms can only be frozen three times.
A Mossm that has been thawed needs to recover and cannot be frozen again for at least 24 hours or until it eats, whichever comes first.
A cryo Pod costs 10 SLK - the equivalent of 1 Mossm hour of work.
The cryo pod identifies the Mossm's name and breed in hover text and there is a visual representation of the Mossm's coat on the top surface of the cryo pod.
If clicked, they cryo pod sends additional information about the Mossm it holds including:
- The Name
- The Breed
- Planet it was born on
- The Age
- Number of times it can mate (Oomf)
- Number of freezes remaining (Cryo)
- All other stats (Str, Dex etc…)
- And a link to its home page at mossms.com where you can view all of these details and see the ancestry of the Mossm.
Using the cryo pod is simple. Just rez it, then rez that special Mossm that needs to be frozen. The Mossm will sit on the cryo pod. When the Mossm is seated and you are ready, just click the pod and then click the button in the resulting dialogue box. Thats it!
