Today we fixed a bug that was causing Mossms with new traits (eyes, ears, and tails) to disappear when being removed from cryo pods. This fix causes cryo pods to behave slightly different. Going forward, a Mossm being thawed will be sent from the mothership. Thawed Mossms won't appear on the ground until you rez the item the Mother Ship sends. In addition, Cryo Pods (Delta) show the DNA Scan of the Mossm in hover text. This means you can now see ears, eyes, tails, and particles in the floaty text. We've also noticed that when buying a cryo pod it goes straight to inventory now rather than being left on the ground. Please look for newly purchased cryo pods in your inventory!

New cryo pods are named Cryo Pod (Delta). Cryo pods that currently contain Mossms can still be thawed. Cryo Pods with no Mossms in them will need to be replaced. If you have old (empty) cryo pods that need to be replaced please open a ticket and we'll send you some new ones.

FAQ:

Q: Mossms that have special dna that are in old cryo pods, will those poof on rez?

A: When you thaw those mossms out that went into old cryo pods that also have special dna: it'll work well enough-- the mother ship will send an extra mossm embryo to the player which they'll need to rez. It's smoother with the new cryo pods, but still works with the old ones.

Q: I have a lot of old empty cryo pod. What do I do?

A: Tell us how many you have in a CS ticket, and we'll send them to you.

Q: Do I delete the old cryos that you updated for me?

A: Yes, delete them. They won't work if you try to use them anyway.

Q: I have a lot of mossms that are in cryo now. What do I do?

A: Mossms that you already have in cryo will work fine. When someone tries to thaw them, if they have special DNA, the mother ship will send the player another embryo that'll work.
